GeoCode Logging Advisory

2020 Q1

In order to take advantage of GeoCoder's new features and improvements, please make sure to update your GeoCoder Object as well as the GeoCoder data files to the most recent build.

Please try this in your Test environment first - If it works in your Test Environment- It should work in your Production environment.

  1. Replace old mdGeo.dll with latest build #17181 (x32 or x64 depending on your system)
  2. Replace mdGeoNET.dll with the one located in \GeoCOM_202001\windows\interfaces\net\x64\mdGeoNET.dll This file will work with both x64 an x32 bits system.
  3. Replace mdGeoCanada.db mdCbsa.dat mdCbsa.idx mdGeo.cty mdGeo.dat mdGeo.idx mdGeo.lic mdGeo.plc mdGeoPoint.dat mdGeoPoint.idx with mdGeoCode.db3
  4. If you are using an Environment Variable MD_LICENSE: Edit that license with your new one and restart your service/program for the new value to take into effect.
