Welcome to the Melissa Data IP Locator. The IP Locator Web Service is able to validate IPv4 and IPv6 addresses and give you geographic information for it.  This geographical data can place an IP address within a city and postal code.  It can also tell you the connection type and speed.

The license string is a software key required to use the service. You will receive your license string from you Melissa Data representative. Without the license string, Global IP Locator will not function.
