Brokers

Unfortunately, the new SmartMover in Mailers+4 build 4078 and 4085 does not support Broker PAF's yet. We are working to implement this feature in the newer builds.

Please revert back to the last build that used Listware Classic (build 3838.exe) by downloading the install: https://download.melissadata.com/updates/3838.exe

If you have installed the latest Mailers+4, please download the 3838.exe above, then double-click to open and run the installer. This will replace the Build and maintain the latest Data files.

Name Parse Issue

The latest update of Mailers+4 (Build 4078 - Database date: April 15, 2021) currently has a known issue with the Name Parse feature returning a high-volume of Vulgar results.

We are working to fix this issue, please revert back to the previous build of Mailers+4 until further notice.

Data can be kept up to date while using the previous build by performing the following steps:

1. Download and Install the previous release first: https://ds.melissadata.com/dsdn/mp4_pro_dvd_March.iso
2. After the previous build is installed, Download & Extract the new mp4_202104.zip folder
PLEASE NOTE: Do NOT run Setup on newer releases. Files must be copied over manually.
3. Open the mp4_202104\Program folder
Copy the MP4GLB.DAT file then go to the Program Data directory to Paste and Replace.
Depending on where Mailers+4 is installed, the directory is usually be found here: <C:\ProgramData\Melissa Data\MAILERS+4>

4. Open the mp4_202104\Data folder
Copy all of the files (not folders) from the Data folder and then Paste (and Replace) into the ProgramData\Melissa Data\MAILERS+4 folder.
Copy the contents of each individual folder (dpv, elot, mdgeo, mdlacs, mdstelink, rbdi) and then Paste (and Replace) into the ProgramData\Melissa Data\MAILERS+4 folder.

Auto Format - Move type

There are currently two different Move Type fields in Mailers+4, ACS MOVE TYPE and MOVE_TYPE (For NCOALink processing).

If Auto-format is used, please be aware of which Move Type field is mapped.

  • If MOVETYPE is in the header row, then field will auto-format to ACS MOVE TYPE
  • If MOVE_TYPE is in the header row, then field will auto-format to MOVE TYPE for NCOALink processing.

Users that update Mailers+4 may have to edit the mp4auto.ini file manually. Depending on where Mailers+4 is installed, the mp4auto.ini file can usually be found in the following directory: <C:\ProgramData\Melissa Data\MAILERS+4>

  • For ACS: F_MOVE_TYPE = MOVETYPE
  • For NCOA: F_SERVICE_STATUS = MOVE_TYPE

Microsoft Windows 7

Unfortunately, the new Mailers+4 - SmartMover release will not work on Windows 7, if you cannot upgrade your operating system yet, do not update Mailers+4.

PLEASE NOTE: If you do not have the Mailers+4- March 2021 update, it can be downloaded here: https://ds.melissadata.com/dsdn/mp4_pro_dvd_March.iso.

Microsoft ended support for Windows 7 on January 14, 2020, which means they no longer receive security updates. Please see the Microsoft Windows 10 FAQ for additional information and recommendations.

Microsoft Windows XP

Melissa Data can no longer support MAILERS+4 issues caused by the Windows XP operating system. Microsoft discontinued support of the Windows XP operating system on April 8, 2014.
