How do I update my license for a Contact Verification Server?
- Answer

- Go to Environment Variables (Right Click on My Computer, go to Properties, then Advanced System Settings, and click on the Environment Variables button.)
- Find the MD_LICENSE variable under system variables.
- Replace that value with the new license. Click OK.
- Reset IIS for the web service to pick up the new license. (Open a command window, type “iisreset”. This will take down the service for a few seconds as it resets.)
What are the details of installing a VMWare Server version of the CVS Appliance?

- The VMWare image of the appliance will be provided with a licensed copy of Windows Server 2003 and the WebSmart Services pre-installed. It is recommended that the hardware housing the VMWare instances be extremely powerful, multiple CPUs, memory and Fiber SAN for storage I/O.
